The writing's on the magnetic wall [03092007]
Many, many moons ago (thirty-seven, to be exact), I made a little DHTML application called The Fridge. You had a bunch of word tiles that you pushed and shoved into the shape of a poem, much like Magnetic Poetry on fridges all over the world. It was good fun and much loved by many people, but with the passage of time the flocking crowds dwindled down to a core of devotees. And then, as is the way of things, they too found other pastimes.
Last week we took a couple of days out at the Labs to turn The Fridge into a Facebook application. This manifestation is even more fun than the last, because you can now create your own sets of words and share them with others. Also, crafting miniature epics on your friends' walls for posterity is a rather satisfying pursuit.
Here's what it looks like:

wow
wonderful work guys!!!
this is truly the coolest ever mini app i have ever encountered on facebook. i LOVE that you can make your own lexicon.
my problem now is that i really really want a bigger version of it (larger on the screen) with more word options!
pretty please?
